Brick from the historic Rotary Kilns at the site of the Portland Cement company on display at the Thomas Edison and Henry Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, Florida, USA. The Edison and Ford Winter Estates contain a historical museum and 21 acre botanical garden on the adjacent sites of the winter homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford beside the Caloosahatchee River in southwestern Florida.

As a part of the commemorations for the 75th anniversary of Operation Market Garden, a memorial service was held in the presence of veterans, their relatives and thousands of people. Traditionally 'flower children' from Remkum municipality lay flowers at the gravestones, this year also were children from other countries laying flowers at the gravestones. A white stone arch is placed at each grave. on the field of honor is a 'Cross of sacrifice' made of Portland stone, on which a bronze sword is attached.
