The Ministry of Health recommends continuing to comply with prevention measures to avoid the further spread of the new coronavirus. The festival will be held virtually and with 50% of the visitors present. 35 Guatemalan families are participating in the elaboration of kites with Chinese paper of various colors, which measure 3 meters. The spiritual objective of raising them to honor the dead and the living, this year the theme was the pandemic that affects the world. Guatemala has counted a total of 102,415 positive cases of covid-19 and 3,567 deaths due to the disease, the highest number of deaths in Central America.
