A golden pheasant is rescued after a Russian guided aerial bomb strike on the Feldman Ecopark in the Kharkiv region, Ukraine, on January 1, 2026. The shelling injures a volunteer and several lions, kills exotic birds such as parrots and pheasants, and destroys winter quarters for birds and predators. Located close to the front line, the ecopark repeatedly suffers from Russian attacks.
