In Paris several thousand demonstrators gathered at Porte de Lilas to protest against article 24 banning the distribution of police images on social networks and article 23 on the use of drones by the police and facial recognition. Quickly Black Bloc took the lead of the demonstration and confronted the police making the demonstration never arrived at Place de la République where clashes also took place in the early evening.

A kashmiri boy catches fish at Famous Dal Lake in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India on 23 August 2020. According to the preliminary loss assessment report by Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries, service sector including Tourism took the biggest cumulative hit. It lost Rs 9191 Crore in the first 120 days that followed the abrogation of article 370. The sector also witnessed 1, 40,500 job losses.

Yemanja statue arrives at Copacabana beach for african-Brazilian religious celebration in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on December 29, 2016. Devotees of umbanda and candomblé celebrate Iemanjá, Orixá known as Queen of the Sea. In the tradition of Brazilian religions, of African hue, devotees make offerings to ask for a prosperous new year. The Iemanjá party held by Mercadão de Madureira takes an image of approximately 2 meters high through the streets of the city in open car. The image leaves the Mercadão of Madureira and goes until Copacabana, where there are a series of religious celebrations of Umbanda and Candomblé. The Mercadão de Madureira is a popular market that sells religious articles, food and holiday items. The place is a Cultural Patrimony Carioca. The feast of Iemanjá is held 14 years ago and always brings together thousands of faithful who ask for the blessings of the Goddess of the Sea.
