Free beaches cleaned up and delimited by a net in Margherita di Savoia on May 14, 2021. The managers of bathing beaches have already done so, others are arranging walkways, cabins, gazebos and bases for umbrellas while for what concerns the public beaches the Municipalities have started the maintenance works of the fixed structures and the reclamation with the removal of waste and various material brought by the storms of the winter months. The season will officially begin on Saturday 15 May, earlier than in the past, as established by the 2021 bathing ordinance of the Region and published on 6 May last, the day before the announcement of the passage of Puglia in the yellow zone.

Free beach cleaned up in Margherita di Savoia on May 14, 2021.
