Hebron, West Bank, 18th August 2015 In the Old city, Israeli created a settlement. Some Israeli frags are floating in the sky. The house is over protected with big fences. The authorities installed some fence between building to protect pedestrian from thrown items/rock by each side of the street between both of communities. Some soldiers stay in position 24/24h in a watchtower. Palestinian people live near to the settlement, are not allowed to use, to sit on their roof or to repair their house. In photo: Following the 1995 Oslo Agreement and subsequent 1997 Hebron Agreement, Palestinian cities were placed under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority, with the exception of Hebron, which was split into two sectors: H1 is controlled by the Palestinian Authority and H2 controlled by Israel. Around 120,000 Palestinians live in H1, while around 30,000 Palestinians along with around 700 Israelis remain under Israeli military control in H2. As of 2009, a total of 86 Jewish families lived in Hebron. The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) may not enter H1 unless under Palestinian escort. Palestinians cannot approach areas where settlers live without special permits from the IDF. The Jewish settlement is widely considered to be illegal by the international community, although the Israeli government disputes this. alestinians are barred from using Al-Shuhada Street, a principal commercial thoroughfare. As a result, about half the Arab shops in H2 have gone out of business since 1994. Around Al-Shuhada Street , shops close because no more people want near this street cause of the clashes and the Israeli soldiers.

A Palestinian designer from the al-Ashi family sketches a gown at their atelier in Gaza City. The family started their own clothing line -wedding dresses and evening gowns- due to the difficulties and cost of smuggling and importing items into the Gaza Strip, either through legitimate crossings controlled by Israel to the north and east and Egypt in the south, or through smuggling tunnels dug under their southern border with Egypt and when the Egyptian border is closed.
