Filipino salted duck eggs are being displayed at a food stall during the Taste of Manila Food Festival in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on August 17, 2024. In the Philippines, these already cooked eggs are being colored a very deep pink to differentiate them from chicken eggs and are being called itlog na maalat, which simply means salty eggs.
