In the meeting, Prachanda proposes a special convention to elect new leadership, citing the current political context. He also proposes to dissolve all party committees from the central to local level. Once approved, all existing party structures from the grassroots to the central level will be dissolved, and a General Convention Organizing Committee will be formed. The committee will be tasked with organizing the special general convention in December. Prachanda also proposes calling an emergency meeting of the Central Committee within a week to formally initiate the process.
