NYPD counterterrorism officers and crime scene unit investigators document the scene where human remains of a woman are found inside a bag in the basement of 330 Bushwick Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, United States, on February 1, 2026. The discovery is made on Sunday morning at approximately 9:38 AM. There are no arrests, and an investigation is ongoing. The NYPD investigates the discovery of a woman's remains found in a building in Brooklyn on Sunday morning. Police respond to the scene around 9:40 a.m. for reports of an unconscious person inside 330 Bushwick Avenue. Upon arrival, officers find the body parts of an adult female in a bag in the basement of the building. There are currently no arrests. The NYC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
