A protester is being cured by medics after being injured by a blast ball in the belly. Nearly 5,000 people are participating in a weekend of action called 'Roue Libre' in the Tarn department against the decried highway A69 between Toulouse and Castres. The farmers' union, Confederation Paysanne, is planting trees and seeds on a portion of a field that will be destroyed by the A69 highway. Several political parties, unions, and NGOs (Attac, LVEL, Confederation Paysanne, GNSA, XR, etc.) are calling for this weekend of protest. Police are trying to block the exit from the camp to protesters. Several corteges are taking place and going to different places. Protesters are trying to reach several objectives and are being blocked by 1,200 gendarmes mobiles (riot police), two helicopters, two armored vehicles, and a deluge of tear gas canisters and explosive grenades. More than 20 protesters are being injured by riot police, and two are being driven to the hospital due to their injuries. The main association 'La Voie est Libre' (i.e., 'The Way is Free') is wanting the building of the highway to be stopped until all the justice decisions on the content are given. All expropriations for farmers aren't cleared. Opponents of this project are saying that the reprofiling of the N126 will be sufficient for the 6,000 vehicles planned per day and would cost far less money. The A69 highway is costing EUR512 million (in 2018 euros without inflation) for 54 kilometers. More than 100 protected species and 400 hectares of agricultural fields are being destroyed. A demonstrator from the black bloc was hit in the head by an LBD gunshot on 5 December 2020 while the third day of mobilisation against the so-called "Global Security" bill was taking place in France. In Paris several thousand demonstrators gathered at Porte de Lilas to protest against article 24 banning the distribution of police images on social networks and article 23 on the use of drones by the police and facial recognition. Quickly Black Bloc took the lead of the demonstration and confronted the police making the demonstration never arrived at Place de la République where clashes also took place in the early evening.

A firefighter managed to climb on a water cannon before being hit by a LBD shot on Tuesday 28th January 2020, at the call of the Professional Firefighters' Unions several thousands of firefighters demonstrated in Paris between the Place de la République and the Place de la Nation to demand the revaluation of the fire bonus and their retirement. Clashes with the police broke out along the route of the procession and at the end of the demonstration where a few hundred people tried to break a bridge bar, the riot police used water cannons and tear gas grenades and the new GM2L grenades to repel them.
