A pair of red-whiskered bulbul birds enter a house and sit on the wires connected to an electric bulb at Tehatta, West Bengal, India 12/07/2023. The red-whiskered bulbul (Pycnonotus jocosus), or crested bulbul, is a passerine bird native to Asia. This medium-sized songbird is a member of the Bulbul family. It is a resident frugivore found mainly in tropical Asia. It has a loud three or four-note call, and feeds berries, small fruits, and insects.
