OULX, Italy 03/10/2023 At the Massi refuge, migrants can find clothing and shoes suitable for high mountain paths in order to better ensure their survival.?On 03/10/2023, a significant number of migrants, mostly from sub-Saharan Africa, gathered at the Oulx refuge in Italy before attempting to cross into France. The Massi refuge, which is managed by volunteers and an association, has reported an unprecedented number of daily attendees, exceeding 200 people. The migrants are attempting to cross the border undetected by the French border police (PAF) between Claviere in Italy and Montgenevre in France, and then proceed to Briancon, where the train station is located.
