Daily Life In Mexico City

David Galicia, artisan and native of the La Magdalena Tizic neighborhood in the Tlahuac mayor's office in Mexico City, reviews and analyzes whether it is possible to repair crafts made of reed and corn cane, which are placed at the entrance of houses to receive to their deceased loved ones on the eve of the Day of the Dead in Mexico. According to the belief of the stars of the souls and reed crafts in said area, it is attributed to the Catholic tradition of performing a novena before the arrival of the souls, other people refer to the 9 levels of Mictlan by which souls pass through to reach this one and join the universe.
