Daily Life In Mexico City

At the top, view of stars of the animas made of reed and corn canuela, which are placed at the entrance of the houses in the La Magdalena Tizic neighborhood in the Tlahuac mayor's office in Mexico City, to receive their loved ones deceased on the eve of the Day of the Dead in Mexico. According to the belief of the stars of the souls and reed crafts in said area, it is attributed to the Catholic tradition of performing a novena before the arrival of the souls, other people refer to the 9 levels of Mictlan by which souls pass through to reach this one and join the universe.
