The Castellers de Vilafranca from Catalonia are preparing to present the creation of human towers, a cultural tradition over 200 years old, for the first time in Mexico at the Zocalo of Mexico City. Celebrating their 75th anniversary, they honor the historical friendship and the significant connection with Mexico, a country that provided refuge to thousands of Catalans following the Spanish Civil War from 1936-1939.
