A rescue dog from the Mexican National Guard is celebrating the first birthday of Arkadas, a rescue dog donated by Turkey to Mexico after the passing of Proteo, a Mexican rescue dog that had assisted in searching for survivors following February's devastating earthquake near the Syrian border, which resulted in at least 54,000 deaths in both countries.
