People are gathering at the Sicanang leprosy settlement in Medan, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, on February 24, 2012. The World Health Organization is promoting ''Beat Leprosy'' as the theme for World Leprosy Day 2024. They are working to eradicate the stigma associated with leprosy and to promote the dignity of those affected by the disease.
