Ceremony In Paris To Pay Tribute To The 42 French Citizens Killed In Israel
Romanian-born French activist and Nazi hunter Serge Klarsfeld (C) and his son, French-Israeli lawyer and politician Arno Klarsfeld (R), are arriving to attend a ceremony in the courtyard of the Hotel des Invalides in Paris, France, on February 7, 2024. The ceremony is paying tribute to the 42 French citizens killed and to all the victims of the Hamas assault on Israel that took place on October 7, four months after the attacks, as the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas continues in the Gaza enclave. The event also honors the three other French and French-Israeli citizens who are still missing and believed to be held hostage. (Photo by Michel Stoupak/NurPhoto)
