Ceremony In Paris To Pay Tribute To The 42 French Citizens Killed In Israel

Eric Ciotti, the head of the right-wing opposition party Les Republicains (L), Laurent Wauquiez, the President of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Regional Council (C), and Olivier Marleix, the President of the right LR group at the French National Assembly (R), are attending a ceremony in the courtyard of the Hotel des Invalides in Paris, France, on February 7, 2024. They are paying tribute to the 42 French citizens killed and to all the victims of the Hamas assault on Israel that occurred on October 7, four months after the attacks, as the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas continues in the Gaza enclave. The ceremony also honors the French and French-Israeli citizens who were killed in the attack by Hamas and the three others who are still missing, believed to be held hostage.
