Indonesia Green Affordable Housing Program For Photojournalists Of Medan

Indonesian President Joko Widodo, through the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), has initiated the Green Housing Financing Program (Indonesia Green Affordable Housing Program/IGAHP), targeting low-income communities. The program, which is set to run from 2024, includes adaptation, mitigation, certification, and green housing financing, and is being implemented in collaboration with stakeholders in the housing finance sector. The Director General of Public Works and Public Housing Infrastructure Financing at the Ministry of PUPR, Herry Trisaputra Zuna, shared with the press that IGAHP aims to save a minimum of 20% in water usage, reduce energy consumption by at least 20%, and cut the greenhouse effect by 29%.
