The haze is visible in Mexico City, Mexico, during the Yellow Traffic Light due to a heat wave and Phase 1 of the Atmospheric Environmental Contingency for ozone, as announced by the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe). This follows high ozone concentrations in recent days. The pollution haze remains clearly visible from elevated areas in the Valley of Mexico, along with high temperatures in the capital ranging between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius.
