Protest For Better Wages And Better Public Services In Toulouse
Protesters are holding a banner that reads 'Social services on strike and angry' in Toulouse, France, on March 19, 2024. All unions have called for a day of strike and protest for better wages and are demanding an end to what they describe as the dismantling of public services, including education and health. Nearly 2,000 people are demonstrating in a joint protest with all unions (CGT, SUD, CFTC, UNSA, etc.) against austerity, inflation, and for equal wages between men and women, as well as for environmental causes. Protests and strikes are taking place all over France in a national day of action.
