ICJ Delivers Order On Nicaragua V Germany Case

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague is currently rejecting Nicaragua's request to block Germany from selling weapons to Israel. The judges have voted 15 against 1, rejecting the request for an emergency order that would direct Germany to halt arms sales to Israel amid a conflict with Palestinians in Gaza. ICJ President Nawaf Salam has written in the ruling that the court concludes that the current circumstances do not require the exercise of its power to indicate provisional measures.
