Mexico-United States Border Wall Construction Continue
Construction workers at the Playas de Tijuana border wall remove the last segment of temporary fencing and add new 30-foot fence panels along the area in Tijuana, Mexico, on January 30, 2025. The US Defense Department assists in finishing the construction of the border wall after a court injunction halted the construction. This assistance is ordered by US President Donald Trump as part of his emergency declaration across the US-Mexico border. The canyon where the construction occurs connects to already constructed 30-foot fence panels that replace older fencing, which began in the spring of 2023, extending to the Pacific Ocean border wall dividing the United States and Mexico at the Tijuana-San Diego border.
