Mexico-United States Border Wall Construction Continue
Construction workers at the Playas de Tijuana border wall continue to take down the last segment of temporary fencing and add new 30-foot fence panels along the area in Tijuana, Mexico, on January 30, 2025. The US Defense Department assists in ''finishing'' the construction of the border wall after the construction was halted due to a court injunction, as ordered by US President Donald Trump as part of his emergency declaration across the US-Mexico border. The canyon where the construction occurs connects to already constructed 30-foot fence panels that replace older fencing initiated during the spring of 2023 to the Pacific Ocean border wall dividing the United States and Mexico at the Tijuana-San Diego border.
