Mexico-United States Border Wall Construction Continue
Construction workers add a new 30-foot fence panel to the Playas de Tijuana border wall as they continue to remove the last segment of temporary fencing in the area in Tijuana, Mexico, on January 30, 2025. The US Defense Department assists in ''finishing'' the construction of the border wall after a court injunction halted the work, following an order by US President Donald Trump as part of his emergency declaration across the US-Mexico border. The canyon where the construction occurs connects to already constructed 30-foot fence panels that replace older fencing, which began in the spring of 2023, extending to the Pacific Ocean border wall dividing the United States and Mexico at the Tijuana-San Diego border.
