Wildfire Affects Mediterranean Scrub Near Otranto
A Canadair Viking Air 415 (known as Canadair CL-415) firefighting aircraft releases water over a wildfire near Baia delle Orte in Otranto, in the southern region of Puglia, Italy, on July 10, 2025. -The blaze, fueled by strong maestrale winds, scorched over 150 hectares of vegetation along the Adriatic coast.
