Mobile World Congress

A wide-angle view of the eHang 216-S (EH216-S), a passenger-grade autonomous aerial vehicle, is showcased at the Urban Air Mobility pavilion during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on March 5, 2026. This multi-rotor electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft is equipped with 16 independent propellers powered by a high-energy density lithium-ion battery system and managed by a dual-redundant flight control system utilizing the Snapdragon Ride Flex SoC for autonomous navigation and real-time obstacle avoidance. The aircraft features a sophisticated visual sensing suite, including an integrated 12-megapixel downward-facing optical camera and high-precision 3D LiDAR sensors for autonomous landing and precision hovering. The EH216-S is designed for two passengers, featuring a high-definition 12-inch touchscreen internal interface and a 4G/5G-Advanced command-and-control communication system that allows for remote supervision from a centralized ground station.
