A classic Samsung Galaxy S5 (Model SM-G900F) is displayed at the Samsung Electronics pavilion during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on March 5, 2026. This 2014 device, the first in the series to introduce biometrics and environmental resistance, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC) quad-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, featuring 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and a 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. It is equipped with a 16-megapixel ISOCELL rear camera with a 1/2.6'' sensor and an f/2.2 aperture, offering Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) with a 0.3-second focus speed. The front sensor is a 2.1-megapixel CMOS camera. The exhibition highlights the S5's IP67 dust and water resistance, the integrated Heart Rate Sensor located under the rear camera, and the ''Finger Scanner'' embedded in the home button. These features connect to the advanced wellness and biometric security technologies in the modern Galaxy S26 ecosystem. (Photo by Joan Cros/NurPhoto)
