On March 30, 2026, the White Plains Police Department responded to a report of a possible transformer explosion on Odell Avenue at approximately 4:28 AM. After checks revealed no damage to transformers, a police officer observed a small explosive device near the doorway of an apartment building at 11 Odell Avenue at approximately 6:08 AM. Additional units established a perimeter, and residents were instructed to shelter in place as a precaution. The device was secured, and two people of interest are detained in the investigation.
