Massive Russian attack damages Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and Mystetskyi Arsenal in Kyiv

A fire burns on the roof of the Mystetskyi Arsenal National Cultural, Art and Museum Complex in Kyiv, Ukraine, on June 15, 2026. The fire follows a large-scale military operation involving missiles and drones. Four people are reported dead, and 28 are injured, including children and a pregnant woman. Approximately 140,000 consumers are without electricity due to damage to power grids. Residential buildings, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, the Mystetskyi Arsenal Museum Complex, the Dovzhenko Film Studio, and the building of the High Anti-Corruption Court are reported to have sustained damage.
