Waterworld
Phnom Krom, Tonle Sap, Cambodia. More than one third of Cambodians live below the poverty line, struggling to survive on less than $1 per day. Poverty is especially pervasive in rural areas and among children, who constitute more than half of the country’s population. The Tonle Sap Lake is situated in the heart of Cambodia and is South East Asia’s largest fresh water lake. The 1.5 million people that live their lives on the lake are an ethnically diverse population of Khmers, Cham, and Vietnamese who experience a life isolated from both the modern world and the progress that is happening in much of Cambodia. -- Go to http://www.nurphoto.com to see more
