Historic Heat Wave Day In Paris
Many Parisians have come to bathe in the Trocadero fountain and cool down on the lawns that surround it as Paris and all of France go through their second heat wave since the beginning of the summer, this day of July 25, 2019 has become historic by beating the record heat recorded in the capital in 1947 by the new temperature of 42.6°C. Faced with the stifling heat of the city, many Parisians and tourists refreshed themselves at the Trocadero fountain where they could swim and relax in the cool. (Photo by Samuel Boivin/NurPhoto)
