Anti-racism Protest In Paris

A red heart-shaped balloon floats in front of the statue of the Republic on June 13, 2020 as several thousand people gathered in the Republic Square in Paris at the call of the committee "Truth for Adama" and Adama Traoré's sister, Assa Traoré, to participate in a demonstration against police violence. This event echoes the Black Lives Matter movement and the death of George Floyd in the USA as well as a new investigation into the case of Adama Traoré, who died in 2016 following his arrest for police custody.
