Mars Mira 2020 - 25th Anniversary Of The Srebrenica Genocide
A man in a soaked shirt rests while drinking water in Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 10, 2020. Red Cross and other bodies ensure that participants are well hydrated due to the hardness of the trail and the heat. The Mars Mira (Peace March) is a walk that since 2005 has been organized annually between July 8 and 10 in memory of the victims of the 1995 Srebrenica genocide. During the three days in which the march takes place, the participants walk by road and, above all, by steep mountains, the distance that connects the towns of Nezuk and Potocari, where the Srebrenica Genocide Memorial Cemetery is located.
