Protest Against Police Brutality In Tunis

A teenager passes in front of a wall on which a drawing of man wearing gas mask and the word ‘ACAB’ (an anti-police slogan which means: all cops ares bastards) are graffitied, in the popular and tough neighborhood of Hay Ettadhamen which is one of the most populated cities in Tunis, during a protest march heading towards Bardo city in Tunis, to protest against the police brutality, the marginalization and the economic and social crisis in the country. Protesters had also demanded the release of youths arrested by the police during the latest nightly protests where they had clashed with the security forces. Security forces prevented them from demonstrating in front of the building of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People (ARP) (Tunisian Parliament) in Bardo. Tunisia, January 26, 2021.
