Selkirk, UK. 17.Jun.2022. Selkirk Common Riding 2022. Friday. Riders, young and old,, ford the River Ettrick on the first crossing, heading Safe Out, a horse cavalcade of over 260 riders. Selkirk commemorates and celebrates its history at the annual Common Riding, held on the second Friday after the first Monday in June, when the towns boundaries or marches are ridden.
