Traditional Foods In Indonesia

Bada tribal indigenous people demonstrate the making of their tribe's traditional food called Sayur Tankidi at the Mosintuwu Cultural Festival in Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia on November 9, 2022. The festival, which presents the four main tribes that inhabit Poso Regency, namely Pamona, Mori, Bada, and Napu, features a variety of attractions including specialties that are still traditionally made with raw materials from the surrounding environment, especially natural forests. Indonesia, which is geographically an archipelagic country, consists of 34 provinces and has 1,340 tribes and there are at least 5,300 types of traditional food that are still maintained today by indigenous peoples.
