Philadelphia police investigate a homicide by shooting of a 12-year-old boy during the filming of a music video in the Northwest section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, on May 10, 2025. At approximately 12:32 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, police respond to the 1500 block of East Pastorius Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discover a 12-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds. Police transport the child to Einstein Medical Center where he is pronounced dead at 12:51 p.m. During the production of the music video, the 12-year-old boy is with a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old with the gun present. The gun goes off, killing the 12-year-old boy, and it is unclear who is in possession of the gun. Several evidence bags are carried out by crime scene unit investigators from the residence.

The 59-year-old male victim is sustaining multiple gunshot wounds throughout the body and is being transported to the hospital in serious condition. There are no suspects in custody and Chicago police are investigating. This is following another fatal shooting that is taking place in the same area, Father's Day morning at 2:32 a.m., where an unidentified male approximately 35 to 40 years of age is being shot several times and killed barbarically in an alley, and in that shooting, no suspects are in custody either.
