When officers arrive on the scene, they find a 70-year-old woman from Paterson inside the residence with multiple stab wounds. She is pronounced deceased on the scene. Crime scene unit investigators bring out evidence bags with evidence collected from the scene, and the medical examiner takes possession of the woman's body. The investigation is active and ongoing.
