Environmental activists from Enter Nusantara, Market Force, and Greenpeace Indonesia, who are part of the Civil Society Coalition, are performing a theatrical action on their way to present the ''Toxic Bond'' award to Adaro Energy Indonesia in Jakarta, Indonesia, on May 8, 2024. Greenpeace Indonesia is stating through a press release that they are carrying out this action in response to the Dirty 30 analysis by Toxic Bond, which identified Adaro Energy Indonesia as one of the world's 30 dirtiest bond issuers, alongside other fossil fuel companies such as Exxon and Shell, with a bond value of US$750 million. Additionally, research from the Carbon Major Database indicates that Adaro is one of the companies accountable for 80% of carbon emissions since the signing of the Paris Agreement from 2016 to 2022. Adaro Energy Indonesia itself is a holding company engaged in business through subsidiaries in the coal mining and services sector, as well as renewable and non-renewable energy, utilities, minerals, mineral processing, and supporting infrastructure, with its headquarters in Jakarta.

A Kurd films the protest with his smartphone. The Toulouse's Kurdish community gathered to pay tribute to the three Kurds killed in a Kurdish cultural centre in Paris on December 23th in Paris by a far right extremist. Kurds gathered also to reclaim justice for this killings and for the high profile killings of three Kurdish women a decade ago, also in Paris. The case is officially 'unresolved' and they demand the lifting of the 'secret defence' by France on the killings of the three Kurd women ten years ago. The 69yo killer had been freed from detention on Dec. 12th while awaiting trial for a sabre attack on a migrant camp in Paris a year ago. He was also convicted in June of committing violent acts with a weapon in 2016, and had lodged an appeal. The France's Kurdish community ask for protection since years. A similar protest took place in Paris. Toulouse. January 7th 2023.
