The storm had a duration of 20 min with heavy wind gusts reaching a speed of more than 100km/h. There was an electricity outbreak that still is not restored and fixed, with many hotels having no electricity. The army helped with generators. The area is trying to recover as Nea Plagia, Potidea and Sozopoli in Chalkidiki are famous summer destinations for holidays.
