President Erdogan today announced a two-week partial lockdown during Ramadan and the new measures which will be in operation starting on Wednesday evening. According to the latest stricter restrictions, a weekday curfew will be imposed between 7 p.m. - previously 9 p.m - and 5 a.m. from Monday to Friday. Restaurants and cafes will only be providing delivery and takeaway services during the permitted hours. This restriction will be in effect until after the Ramadan Bayram, also known as Eid al-Fitr.
