Ceremony In Paris To Pay Tribute To The 42 French Citizens Killed In Israel
Members of Parliament from the French far-right Rassemblement National (RN) party are arriving to attend a ceremony in the courtyard of the Hotel des Invalides in Paris, France, on February 7, 2024. The ceremony is being held to pay tribute to the 42 French citizens killed and to all the victims of the Hamas assault on Israel that took place on October 7, four months after the attacks. The conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas is continuing in the Gaza enclave. The tribute also honors the French and French-Israeli citizens who were killed in the attack by Hamas and the three others who are still missing, believed to be held hostage.
