Barricaded Situation After Armed Robbery Report In Washington DC
Authorities are responding to a barricaded situation in the 2000 block of Georgia Avenue in Washington, DC, on February 22, 2024. At approximately 8:06 a.m. on Thursday morning, a Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officer was flagged down for a reported armed robbery near 8th Street & Florida Avenue, NW. It is reported that two potential suspects have run inside a building on Georgia Ave and are currently barricaded inside.
