Barricaded Situation After Armed Robbery Report In Washington DC
Suspects involved in a barricaded situation are exiting the building and are being led into an ambulance by police in Washington, DC, on February 22, 2024. The situation, which is occurring in the 2000 block of Georgia Avenue, began at approximately 8:06 a.m. when a Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officer was flagged down for a potential armed robbery near 8th Street & Florida Avenue, NW. It was reported that two potential suspects ran inside a building on Georgia Ave and barricaded themselves inside.
