National Day Of Strikes And Protest In Public Education Sector
Children are holding a sheet that reads 'Our children aren't garbage, we won't select them'. All unions have called for a day of strike and protest for better wages and are demanding the cessation of what they describe as the breaking of the public education service, as well as calling for more resources and teachers. Nearly 6,000 people are demonstrating in Toulouse, France, on April 2, 2024, in a joint protest with all unions (CGT, SUD, SNES, UNSA, etc.) against what the French Prime Minister has called the 'shock of knowledges', 'level groups', and the idea of mandatory uniforms up to university level.
