ICJ Delivers Order On Nicaragua V Germany Case

Protesters are gathering outside the Peace Palace, home of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), in The Hague, Netherlands, on April 30, 2024, demanding a ceasefire and showing support for Palestine and Nicaragua. They are waving Palestinian flags and displaying banners. Inside, the ICJ has rejected Nicaragua's request to order Germany to stop selling weapons to Israel. The court's judges voted 15 to 1 against the emergency order, with ICJ President Nawaf Salam stating that the current circumstances do not warrant provisional measures. (Photo by ___)
