Blocking Taxi Drivers In Paris
Several dozen Taxis block traffic on the Paris ring road during a major snail operation on Monday, May 20, 2019 on the motorways and the Paris ring road in order to block the centre of Paris in order to challenge the draft LOM (Loi d'Orientation des Mobilités) law currently under consideration. Taxi drivers are calling for the suspension of this bill, which would strengthen unfair competition from VTCs and Uber in particular and the simple application of the Grand Guillaume Act.
