Anti-racism Protest In Paris

Demonstrators put one knee on the ground and raise their fists in the air in protest on June 13, 2020 as several thousand people gathered on the Place de la République in Paris at the call of the committee "The Truth for Adama" and Adama Traoré's sister, Assa Traoré, to participate in a demonstration against police violence. This event echoes the Black Lives Matter movement and the death of George Floyd in the USA as well as a new investigation into the case of Adama Traoré, who died in 2016 following his arrest for police custody.Many slogans called for Justice for Adama, BLM and denounced racism in the police.
